Phillip E. Meyers Sr.

Phillip E. Meyers, Sr., age 81, of Mishawaka, IN passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017. Phillip was a truck driver for 31 years, a member of the American Legion, and a member of the Disabled Veterans. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.

Phillip was born to Roscoe M. and Edith K. (Kinneman) Meyers on March 23, 1936 in Mishawaka. He is survived by his sons Phillip E. (Diane) Meyers Jr. of South Bend, IN and Gregory R. (Laura) Meyers of Mishawaka; stepson James R. Coryell of Mishawaka; six grandchildren; and sister Sharon Ewing of Mishawaka. Phillip is preceded in death by his parents, seven sisters, and nine brothers.

A memorial service will be held at noon on Friday, October 20, 2017 at Palmer Funeral Home River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN 46615. A visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial of ashes will follow the funeral service at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osecola, IN.
