Phuc My Hoang, 94, residing in South Bend, passed away at 11:00 pm Thursday, June 18, 2015 in Signature Healthcare of South Bend. He was born October 16, 1920 in China.
In 1953 in Hai Phong, Vietnam, Phuc married Mui Tu (Lu) Hoang, who survives. Together they moved to the South Bend area in 1981, coming from Hong Kong. Phuc worked as a cook.
In addition to his wife, Phuc is survived by their children, Eric (Ailinh Hoang) Wong of Vancouver, Canada, Andy (Linh Luong) Hoang of Toronto, Canada, Yen Hoang and Hue (Trang) Hoang, both of South Bend and Toan (Hue Nguyen) Hoang of Denver, CO; eleven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters living in China.
Funeral services for Phuc will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, June 27, 2015 in the Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend, where friends may visit with the family one hour prior to services.
