SOUTH BEND – Ralph E. Fouts, Jr., residing in South Bend, Indiana passed away at 10:56 AM Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka.

Ralph was born on April 29, 1930 in South Bend to the late Ralph E. Fouts and Tyra (Gustafson) Fouts and has been a lifelong resident of this area, graduating from Mishawaka High School.  Ralph was a self-employed painter and wall paper hanger, retiring in 1992.  He was a member of the Mishawaka High School Alumni Association, Mishawaka Club #15, and the Mishawaka Euchre Club.

On November 5, 1949 in Cassopolis, MI, he was united in marriage to Elizabeth L. (Hennighausen) Fouts, who preceded him in death on December 31, 2009.

Ralph is survived by his daughters, Rebecca (Fouts) Nowacki of South Bend, and Deborah (Fouts) Galindo of Walnut, CA; one son, Andrew (Karen) Fouts of Traveler’s Rest, SC; brother-iin-law, Stan Moore of Lakeland, FL; sister-in-law, Susan Squires of San Antonio, TX; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter;  and his brother, Donald (Carole) Fouts of Hayden, ID

Ralph was preceded in death by one brother, Dean Fouts and one sister, Poly Jane Moore.

There will be no services. Ennichement will take place at Fairview Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics of St. Joseph County, P.O.
