SOUTH BEND-Robert Joseph Maike, Jr., 55, passed away at 1:40 AM Friday, August 21, 2015 at his home.  Robert was self-employed and installed hardwood floors.  He was born on August 22, 1959 in South Bend, IN to the late Robert Joseph Maike, Sr. and Mary (Frantom) Maike Parmlee. On July 4, 1987 in California Robert married Lisa (Close) Maike who survives.

Along with his loving wife, Lisa; Robert is also survived by his daughter, Amber Maike of South Bend; three sons, Robert J. (Monica) Maike, III, Matt Maike and Michael Maike all of South Bend; four grandchildren, Bryanna, Michelle, Journey and Matt; his mother, Mary Parmlee of South Bend; two sisters, Char (Rene) Paturalski of Edwardsburg, MI and Liz Maike of South Bend; and his two brothers, David (Sherry) Maike of Colorado and Louis (Deb) Maike of Illinois.

Robert served in the United States Army and the United States Army Reserves.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM Monday, August 24, 2015 at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend.  Chaplain Arlan Cochran will officiate.  Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 PM Monday until time of services and then following services until 8:00 PM.
