Ruby Marie Weir

Ruby Marie Weir, age 54, known as “Pug” by many and affectionately known by her grandchildren as “Nanny.” She lived in Mishawaka, IN and passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 6, 2017.

Ruby was born on November 20, 1963 in South Bend, IN to Marvin Dwight Hargrove and Marsha (White) Beshires, who both preceded her in death. She was married on December 7, 1981 to Tim Weir. Even though they were divorced, he stood by her side and took care of her through the final days of her life. Ruby is survived by her daughters Kelly Weir of Mishawaka and Ashley (Charles) Weir of Mishawaka; grandchildren Kiera, Cameron, Nathan, and Zoey; and sister Amii Quinn of AK. Ruby is also preceded in death by her granddaughter Alana.

According to Ruby’s wishes, there will be no services held at this time. Memorial contributions in honor of Ruby may be given to the family in the care of Palmer Funeral Homes to help with funeral expenses. Online condolences may be given at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com
