Ruth M. Willis, 62 years old, passed away at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at her home.  Ruth was  born on February 7, 1952 in South Bend to the late Robert and Betty (Loucks) Newhart.  She has remained a lifelong resident.  On June 22, 1985 in North Liberty at the Potato Creek State Park, she was united in marriage to Donald L. Willis.

Along with her loving husband, Donald, Ruth is survived by her three daughters, Angie (Tom) Barrus of Niles, MI, Roxane Bradley of Bremen, IN, and Carrie (Randy) Smith of Goshen, IN; three step-daughters, Gina (Jeremy) Rockey of Wolf Lake, IN, Tammara (Scott) Southern of Anderson, IN, and Shannon (Cash) Jacobs of North Webster, IN; step-son, Andy (Kelley) Willis of North Webster, IN; nineteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brother, Terry (Sharon) Newhart of Walkerton; and brother-in-law, Bob Britton of Bremen.  One sister, Sue Britton, preceded Ruth in death.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend.  Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.  Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 28th, at the funeral home.
