Sandra Lee (McIntire) Larracuenta

Mrs. Sandra Lee Larracuenta, age 67, passed away on March 20, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. Sandra was born on May 11, 1950 in La Porte, Indiana to the late James H. McIntire and Etta Jane King.

Sandra was a 33-year resident of the area, moving to South Bend from Knox, Indiana in 1985. On December 17, 1988, Sandra was united in marriage to Jon Larracuenta. Sandra attended Faith Christian Chapel in Lakeville and was active in her church community.  She cherished spending time with loved ones and will be missed by all who knew her.

Sandra is survived by Jon Larracuenta, her loving husband of 29 years; daughters Ronny Jo (Gilbert) Carter of Gloucester, Virginia and Robin Lynn (Herb) Kajer of Bass Lake, Indiana; three grandchildren: Ashley, Herbie and Emilee; four great-grandchildren; brothers James H. (Debbie) McIntire, Jr. of Knox, Indiana and John E. McIntire of Tennessee as well as a host of extended family and friends.  Sandra was preceded in death by her parents.

Services for Mrs. Sandra Larracuenta will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 26, 2018 at Faith Christian Chapel, 20876 Pierce Rd, Lakeville, Indiana. Friends may call on the family for visitation from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. prior to funeral services at the church. Pastor Dave Herbster will officiate. Burial to follow at Southlawn Cemetery in South Bend, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made in Sandra’s honor to Gideons International.
