SOUTH BEND-Infant Shalaya Sonora Pearl Wilson passed away at 2:30 PM Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, IN. 

Shalaya is survived by her parents, Curtis and Sasha (Edwards) Wilson; maternal grandparents, Elder Howard (Dawn) Edwards of South Bend; maternal great grandmother, Mary Alice Edwards; aunts and uncles, Sade (Robert) Denton, Jason Edwards, Centhear (William) Holloway. Barbara Wilson, Leone Wilson, Gwendolyn Paine, Donald Wilson, Joyce (Sammy) Harris and Carolyn Witcher; and several nieces and nephews.

Shalaya was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ray and Delores Wilson; maternal grandmother, Sheila Edwards; and her uncle, Maurice Witcher.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, October 9, 2015 at Lake Chapel Primitive Baptist, 202 Lake Street, South Bend, IN 46619. Elder Howard Edwards will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM Friday until time of services.
