Sheila Michelle Barnett

Sheila Michelle Barnett, age 50, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away Friday, September 15, 2017. Sheila loved playing euchre, cooking and music. Sheila was a loving aunt, niece, daughter, mother and sister. 

Sheila was born on June 24, 1967. She was the daughter of Charles Pauwels, Sr., and Karen (Lovitt) Pauwels. Her father preceded her in death. Sheila is survived by her mother; daughter, Rebecca Barnett of Columbus, OH; sister, Leslie Pauwels; brother, Charles Pauwels, Jr.; nephews,  Jacob Pauwels, Nathaniel and Hayden Miller; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as lifelong best friends, Rick, Sam and many others. 

A Celebration of Life will be held for Sheila on Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 2:00-6:00pm at Langlab located at 1302 High Street in South Bend. Dishes to pass are welcome. Memorial contributions in honor of Sheila may be given to the Barnett family in the care of Palmer Funeral Homes. Palmer Funeral Homes River Park is assisting the family.
