Susan E. McDonald, 73, residing in North Liberty, IN passed away at 3:50 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2011 in Memorial Hospital. She was born on January 4, 1938 in Waukegan, IL to the late Adolph and Veronica (Aliska) Jerdee.
Mrs. McDonald is survived by three daughters, Diane Schlemmer of Bremen, IN, Sandy (Richard) Scott of North Liberty, IN and Kristine McDonald of North Liberty, IN; two sons, Andrew McDonald of North Liberty, IN and Michael (Jennifer) McDonald of North Liberty, IN; ten grandchildren, Amy, Janessa, John, Susie, Allison, Audra, Randi, Rachel, Drew and Sara; four great grandchildren, Landon, Alannah, Brianna and Savanah; sister, Barbara (Bernie) Miks of Beach Park, IL and brother, Charles (Nancy) Jerdee of Sun Lakes, AZ. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty seven years, James E. McDonald on February 15, 2010 and two brothers, Adolf and Earl Jerdee.
Mrs. McDonald lived in Georgia for seventeen years and North Carolina for ten years before moving to North Liberty in 2000. She was employed for the North Liberty Elementary School as a kitchen aide and at Swan Lake in the landscaping department.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2011 in the Palmer Funeral Home, 314 S. Michigan St. Lakeville, IN. Pastor Tim Davis will officiate. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services.
