Tyler Alan Hurtle, 20, of South Bend, IN passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016. Tyler was born on June 28, 1996 to Mark A. Hurtle and Sara A. Zolman, both of South Bend.
Tyler is survived by his mother, Sara (Terry Litka) Zolman and father, Mark Hurtle, his grandparents, Jean Zolman and Lois Hurtle; brothers, Justin Hurtle and Colton Litka; stepsisters, Hannah and Peyton Litka as well as his aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Walter H. Zolman and Mike E. Hurtle.
Tyler was a tow truck driver and a mechanic at Tony's Mobile, where he was loved dearly and treated like family. He enjoyed being with the people he loved. He loved working on cars and shredding on his bike at the Kitchen BMX Skate park where he spent many hours. Tyler was always moving and lived every single day to the fullest.
Tyler was known for his kind heart, helping others, and his mischievous smile. You knew he was coming before you saw him because he was always either singing or whistling.
He will be missed by many.
No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye, you were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Palmer Funeral Home-West Chapel, 2702 Lincolnway West, South Bend, IN. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
