Warren Everett Zinn

Warren Everett Zinn, 81, residing in South Bend, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017. He was born on August 18, 1936 in Elkhart, IN, to Raymond Willis Zinn and Lola Ruby (Lesher) Zinn, both whom preceded him in death.

On June 25, 2006, Warren married the former Carol Meersman, who survives. In addition to his loving wife, Warren is survived by daughters, Pamela Zinn of La Porte, IN; Debi Czarnecki of Elkhart, IN; Charlene Fabiszak of Newport News, VA; and Corey (Mark) Crawford of South Bend; sons, Stephen Zinn of Grand Rapids, MI; Charles (Kristin) Meersman of Granger, IN; and Christopher (Melissa) Meersman of Walkerton, IN; 24 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Sproul of Niles, MI; and Jacqueline Landeck of Niles; brother, John (Shani) Zinn of Niles. In addition to his parents, Warren was preceded in death by son, Ronald Zinn; grandchildren, Christopher Crawford and Trevon Kennedy; and sisters, Jean Spencer and Mary Jane Kirsch.

Warren was employed as a transporter at Hertz. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held for Warren. Palmer Funeral Home—Hickey Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
