Wayne J. Zillmer

Wayne J. Zillmer, 86, of Bremen, IN passed away at 8:05 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2015 at Miller's Merry Manor, Plymouth, IN.   He was born on November 9, 1928 in South Bend, IN to the late Victor and Francis (Reichert) Zillmer.   He was united in marriage to Marian P. (Jones) Zillmer on October 21, 1951 in Bremen, IN. 

Mr. Zillmer is survived by his wife, Marian Zillmer; daughter, Sue (Mark) Zillmer-White of Roswell, GA; son, Larry Zillmer of Bremen, IN; two grandchildren, Zachary and Austin White, both of Roswell, GA; sister, Martha (Wayne) Dinkeldein of Nappanee, IN; brother, Bill (Lois) Zillmer of Mishawaka, IN; sister-in-law, Donna Zillmer of Fort Myers, FL and brother-in-law, Leroy Heckaman of Bourbon, IN.  He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Cathy Zillmer; sister, Margie Heckaman and brother, Norman Zillmer.

Mr. Zillmer was a lifelong resident and served honorably in the United States Army.  He was the owner and operator of a grain farm and a member of Salem United Methodist Church. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Palmer Funeral Home-Lakeville, 314 S. Michigan St. Lakeville, IN.  Friends may visit with the family from 12:00- 2:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the services.
