William "Bill" Ryan Obituary

William “Bill” Ryan, July 2, 1967 – June 2, 2019 OSCEOLA, IN – Bill Ryan, 51 years old, was born on July 2, 1967 in Chicago, IL to William P. Ryan & Linda S. Daniels.  He grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and was a member of the football team at Lisle High School, in which he graduated from in 1985. Bill proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a Signals Intelligence Analyst for 4 years. While on active duty and stationed at Clark Air Force base he met Ronette Deang. They were married on July 20th, 1996, in Elk Grove, California and raised four children together. Bill was so very proud of his children and loved attending their events and vacationing as a family. Bill worked at Dayton Freight for 20 years, serving as the Service Center Director, who trained and oversaw operations for the South Bend Terminal.  He was highly regarded throughout the entire company but was especially admired by the people who knew him best. His hobbies were golfing, Golden Tee, spending time with his many friends and playing hide-and-seek with Chase, the family’s Italian Greyhound. Bill especially loved going to the Bears and to the Cubs games in Chicago.  He was able to watch game 3 of the 2016 World Series in Chicago and ultimately saw his Cubbies win the World Series.

Surviving to cherish Bill’s memory are many treasured friends and most importantly, his beloved family; his wife, Ronette (Deang) Ryan; his children, Billy Ryan (28) of Germany, RJ Deang (28) of San Francisco, CA,  Kristen Ryan (22) of Chicago, IL, and Kayla Ryan (17) of Osceola, IN; his mother, Linda (Daniels) Carajohn, his dad, William Ryan and his wife, Eva Ryan; and his siblings Lori Flynn, Joseph Ryan, James Ryan, and Michael Ryan.
