Edward Eugene Williams

Edward Eugene Williams, 81, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024, in Brickyard Healthcare. Born on March 13, 1943, in South Bend, to the late Renolt Lloyd and Margaret Williams. Ed was also predeceased by his beloved wife, Eliza Ann Williams, whom he married in 1984 and passed away in 2010; and his sisters, Regina Gates and Sharon Williams. He is survived by his sister, Kathy (Larry) Stitsworth; and friends, Jule Eakins, Carolyne Wallace, Darilyne Tingle and many friends at the 100 Center Hi-Rise Apartments.

Ed dedicated 43 years of his life to his work as a mechanic at Horvath Amaco, retiring in 1988. He was also a mechanic at the South Bend Motor Speedway and at various other gas stations in the area. Ed was a man of faith and attended Christ Temple Apostolic Church and the Fountainview Nursing Home Church, where he found solace and fellowship.

A graveside service to celebrate Ed's life will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, 23449 Edison Road, South Bend, IN 46628. Palmer Funeral Home - River Park Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
