Eileen June (Waters) Names

Eileen June Names, 86, residing in South Bend, Indiana passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Trailpoint Village, South Bend. 

She was born on September 24, 1935, in South Bend, Indiana to the late Clarence Waters and Margeurite (Vary) Ryan and remained a lifelong resident.  Eileen was united in marriage to Ralph Eugene Names in 1964, in South Bend, Indiana. Ralph preceded her in death in October 1987.

Eileen is survived by her daughter-in-law, Barbara Lynn Names of South Bend; two grandchildren, Krystal (Charlton) McCully of Niles and Tiffany (Joe) Names-Crail of South Bend; one great-grandson, Alexander McCully of Niles; her sister, Lois Hosford of South Bend; and her brother, Archie Ryan.   Eileen was preceded in death by her son, Robert Vincent Names; and six siblings, Margie Walker, Jeanne Troyer, Justina Pietrzak, Helen Lane, Thomas Waters and Robert Waters. 

Eileen served as a waitress at Bob Evans for sixteen years and as a sample clerk at Sam’s Club for eight years.

Funeral services will take place at 12:00 Noon on Friday, July 8, 2022, at Palmer Funeral Home – Welsheimer Chapel, 17033 Cleveland Road, South Bend, IN 46635, where friends may visit from 10:00am until time of services.  Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, South Bend, IN.
