Robert Kimble Obituary

Robert K. Kimble, 57, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2024, in Cardinal Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born on January 10, 1967, in Lima, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Brenda (Collins) Kimble, who passed away in 2015; his father, Courtney Robert Kimble, and his stepsister, Beth Ann Barry Rose. Robert's memory will be cherished and kept alive by his devoted mother, Linda Miller Kimble Barry and his stepdad, William E. Barry; stepdaughter, Danielle (Anthony) Caddy of Columbia City, Missouri; and stepsons, Micheal (Emily) Yossett of Mishawaka and Alexander Yossett of Columbia County, Ohio. Robert was a loving grandfather to Katiana Evanoff, Thomas Evanoff, Isabeau Evanoff, Lyam Caddy, Ayden Caddy, Deklan Reaux, Michael James Yossett, Connor Glenn Yossett, Jeffrey William Yossett, Zane Allen Yossett, Lucas Rex Yossett, Maddox Yossett, and Maddie Lynn Inez Nickerson. His role as a grandfather was one of his greatest joys, and the lessons and love he imparted will continue to shape their lives. He is also survived by brothers, Douglas Allen Kimble, Richard James (Kirsten Tippie) Kimble and Sean Michael (Fabiola) Kimble; stepbrothers, William E. (Kristen) Barry II and Joseph A. (Colleen) Barry; and stepsister, Darla (Mike) Forester.

Robert was a proud veteran, having honorably served his country in the United States Army. Following his military career, he served the community as a server at Barnaby's Pizza. A man of many interests, Robert was an avid gamer, finding solace and adventure in the realms of Dungeons and Dragons and various video games. His passion for storytelling was evident in the intricate tales he wove during gameplay, captivating the imagination of all who joined him in these fantastical worlds. Robert cherished the outdoors, often going on walks to embrace the beauty of nature. He was a voracious reader, always eager to explore new worlds through the pages of a book. His love for reading was only matched by his love for sharing stories, a gift he generously extended to his family and friends.

Robert's family will gather privately to remember and celebrate his life. Palmer Funeral Homes - River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Ave, South Bend, IN 46615, is assisting the family with arrangements.
