Robert L Littler

Robert L. Littler, aged 84, of South Bend, IN, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2024. Born on September 1, 1939, in Xenia, Ohio, to the late Harley and Thelma Littler, he was a man of loving heart, intelligent mind, and courageous spirit.

Robert, affectionately known as Bob to his friends and family, was a devoted husband to his wife, Zora, and a cherished father to his daughters, Cowenna Graham of Mishawaka and Sheila (David) Szymczak of South Bend. He took immense pride in his role as a grandfather to Brittany, Allison, Dalton, and Arrianna, and was a doting great-grandfather to five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Chet Littler of Ohio. Preceding him in death were his son, Ralph Littler; great-grandchildren Penny and Orion; his sister, Thelma; and brothers, Guy, Gary, Sam, and Elmer.

After high school Bob went on to lead a successful career as a truck driver, eventually owning his own business. His work ethic was unparalleled, and his contributions to the industry were significant.

An avid fan of both Chicago Cubs and University of Notre Dame football, Bob's enthusiasm for the game was infectious. He was an active member of a Classic Car club, where his passion for classic cars found a community of like-minded enthusiasts. Bob's love for the outdoors was evident in every aspect of his life, from his hobbies to the time he cherished with his family.

Robert L. Littler will be deeply missed by all who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and kindness. His memory will be treasured forever in the hearts of his loved ones.
