Sandra Kay (Hoefle) Handley

Sandra Kay (Hoefle) Handley, 77 of Bremen passed away in the early afternoon hours on Monday, March 25, 2024.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Richard L. Handley, their two daughters, Kimberly Handley of Bremen, and Laurie (Mike) Selsor of Granger, four grandchildren, Brittney (DJ) Handley, Trevor (Meranda) Handley, Tyler Selsor, and Johanna Selsor, three great grandchildren, Daemion, Roran, and Roseland and Sandy’s three sisters, Carole (Bruce) Moore of Mishawaka, Terrie (Johnny) Hoefle of Mishawaka, and Julie (Vern) Houin of Ghent, KY.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Betty Hoefle, brother Bill Hoefle, and nephew Shaun Moore.

Sandy’s laugh could light up a dark room and she was always the shoulder to cry on for whoever needed her. She was a master crocheter and always “crafting” hats for her grandchildren. One of her most favorite things was to spend the day with her husband shopping at the local discount store or spending the day with her grandbabies doing crafts or eating blueberries. She truly was the glue that held our family together and we are going to miss the joy she brought to everyone’s lives.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday April 6, 2024, at Palmer Funeral Homes ~ Bubb Chapel, 3910 N Main St., Mishawaka, IN 46545, where friends may visit with the family beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time. Graveside services will follow at Southlawn Cemetery.
