Adam Wagers Jr. Obituary

Adam Wagers Jr., a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2024, in Plymouth, Indiana, at the age of 65. Born on December 22, 1958, in Knox, Indiana, Adam's life was one marked by love, generosity, and kindness.

Adam was the beloved husband of Barbara (Pfefferkorn) Wagers, with whom he shared over four decades of devoted marriage since their wedding on November 12, 1982, in Brigham City, Utah. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, support, and enduring love. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adam Wagers and Goldie (Fugate) Wagers, and his brothers, Timothy and Robert Wagers.

Adam's legacy is carried on by his loving family, including his daughter, Marla (LeRoy) Woods of Plymouth; his sons, Tyler (Valerie) Wagers of South Bend and Nathan Wagers of Oklahoma; his cherished grandchildren, Austyn (Mckenzie) McCord, Mikayla (Trevor) Fox, David Kramer, Elizabeth Wagers, and Adam Wagers; and his three adoring great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Lillie Mae (Paul) Ditlinger of South Bend; and his brothers, Lonnie (Janet) Wagers of Argos, Marty Wagers of Fort Wayne, Russell (Jo) Wagers of Argos, Steve (Lisa) Wagers of Knox, and Troy (Jenny) Wagers of North Judson. Adam is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Adam was a man of simple pleasures and profound commitments. His love for playing cards was well-known among his friends and family, and many will remember him for the joy and camaraderie he brought to the table.

Above all, Adam loved his family. He was a constant presence in the lives of his children and grandchildren, offering guidance, support, and unconditional love. His generosity extended beyond his immediate family, touching the lives of all who knew him. Adam's kindness was a beacon that drew people to him, and his warm, welcoming nature made everyone feel at home.

Spending time with his grandkids was one of Adam's greatest joys. He cherished every moment, whether it was giving them guidance, sharing stories, or simply being together. His grandchildren will carry forward the lessons of love and generosity that he instilled in them.

Adam's kindness extended beyond his immediate circle, touching the lives of everyone he met. His warm smile and gentle demeanor will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
