Abdul Dashaa Cross

Abdul Dashaa Cross, 15, of South Bend, IN passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.  Abdul was born in South Bend on September 23, 2001 to Aaron Cross and Takisha Jacobs. 

Abdul is survived his father and mother; his sisters, Ameya Cross, Amiya Cross, both of South Bend and Arionna Cross of Dowagiac, MI; brothers, Darius Marshall, Russell Blount, Aaron Cross, Jr. all of Indianapolis, Ariah Cross and Amaru Cross, both of South Bend; grandparents, Kewana Lewis, Patricia Walker and A. D. Cross, all of South Bend; aunts, Brittani Jacobs-Overton of Indianapolis and Taneisha Cross of South Bend; Godbrothers, Kishawn Anderson, Kamron Anderson and Rahim Brumfield, and Godmother, Kia Herron.  Abdul was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Pearl Smith, Helen Lewis and  Catherine Williams; and his uncle, Jeremy Jacobs.

Abdul had completed his freshman year at South Bend Riley high school and was a star player on their football team. 

 Funeral services for Abdul will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Palmer Funeral Home - Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend.  Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
