Annrose Jerry

Annrose Jerry, age 21, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, IN. She was born on May 7, 1998 in Kerala, India. She is survived by her parents, Reny Chacko and Jerry James of Blaine, MN.  

Annrose was a senior majoring in science and business, and a member of the Glynn Honors program. She won the Notre Dame Merit Scholar Award. She was the solo flutist for the Notre Dame folk choir. She enjoyed music and spending time with family and friends. 

She graduated from Blaine High School in 2016 at the top of her class and was a National Merit Scholarship finalist. She was the pianist for her high school jazz band and a flutist in the school band. She performed music in various European countries with her school band. She also performed as a flutist with the Minnesota State Band for two consecutive years. As an active member of her parish church choir, Annrose played flute and piano during the Sunday liturgy from 7th grade onwards. 

There will be a gathering of friends, family and ND community from 5:00-7:00 PM on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Palmer Funeral Home – Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend, IN  46635.  A Memorial Mass will follow at 9:00 PM at Basilica of the Sacred Heart on the campus of the University of Notre Dame.   

On Tuesday, January 28, 2020, a wake will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Kozlak-Radulovich Funeral Home – Blaine Chapel, 1385 107th Avenue N. E., Blaine, MN  55434.   

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 1305 Royal Avenue, Simi Valley, CA 93065. A visitation will be held for friends and family from 12:30 EST/9:30 AM PST until time of Mass. Friends may view a livestream beginning at 9:30 AM PST at the following address: sojimediausa.com/live. Graveside services and burial will follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, 1380 Fitzgerald Road, Simi Valley, CA 93065.

Contributions in memory of Annrose Jerry may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
