Ardith Knepp Obituary

Ardith E. Knepp, 88, of South Bend, IN passed away at 12:50 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2018 at her son's home.  She was born on November 28, 1929 in Kalamazoo, MI to the late Cornelius and Lena (Hoogenboom) Kalleward.  On April 16, 1949 in Kalamazoo, MI, she was united in marriage to Donald E. Knepp, who preceded her in death on August 14, 1986. 

Ardith is survived by two sons, Gregory Alan Knepp of South Bend, IN and Kevin (Stephanie) Knepp of South Bend, IN; three grandchildren, Crystal (Billy) Bradshaw, Gregory Alan Knepp II and Kevin Bruce (Tara) Knepp II; three great grandchildren, Hunter Alan Drake-Knepp, Ariela Bishop and Kasey Bela Knepp and brother, Ronald  (Sally) Kalleward of Kalamazoo, MI.   She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald and son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Nancy Knepp as well as her great grandson Elijah Brooks.

Ardith and Donald were the owner and operators of Knepp Photography Studio, retiring in 1999 after twenty-five years. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Our Lady of Hungary, 829 W. Calvert Street, South Bend, IN.  Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services at church.  Burial will private at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, IN.  Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel is assisting the family.
