We were so saddened to hear of Barb's passing. We only knew Barb since moving in right behind her in Creekwood Villas two years ago. It was a pleasure to have her as our neighbor, and so enjoyed all of her landscaping work that she was always tinkering with! Also enjoyed our chats in her back yard or up on her deck. She will be greatly missed. Our condolences, thoughts and prayers to her entire family.

I took Barb with me to a national genealogy conference back in about 2002. We had many laughes later on recalling that event in Pittsburgh. I ended up with a $120 ticket. Very long story! She had been on my mind recently and I was going to call to chat. I am very sorry I missed that. I'll miss her!

Barb, I will miss our hour long+ phone chats; our quickie text messages and our class brunches. I will miss YOU my friend. I pray for your family during this time that they find peace in knowing you are at rest.
And, thank you Scott for taking such care of your Mom. Yes, she appreciated you so much and loved her sons and grandkids. A true friend and nice lady.

I have known Barbara almost my entire life but we got to be GOOD friends
about 10 years ago. We bonded when we discovered we both voted the same in the 2008/2012 Presidential elections. She was a dear person and I already miss her very much.
To her family, I express my sorrow for your loss.

Dear Barbara, I am so sad that you are gone. Rest In Peace. I remember the things we enjoyed, many lunches, growing up in Sturgis, DAR,our love for genealogy and finding connections between our families - your grandmother and my uncle being friends, my mother being a contemporary of your father and uncle, and our connection to Oliver George Long. Thanks for your friendship.

A $100 donation was made in Barb's memory to the South Bend Center for the Homeless. I wish I could have done more for Barb before she died.

I am sending my sincere condolences on the passing of Barbara. She was my neighbor here in Creekwood Villas. She was always pleasant to me and my golden retriever Cooper. My dog loved to visit your Mom and look at all the new and fun things she put out in her yard. This is so sad to read.

I am so sorry this happened and can't believe she is gone. We talked so often on the phone and I enjoyed our lunches when I visited her at her home. I will miss her. She so looked forward to spending the day with her grandson and a visit from her son. I am so glad you were there for her in her final days. My sympathies to you and your family.
