MISHAWAKA – Brandon Lee Fansler, age 28, residing in Mishawaka, Indiana passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018 at his home.
Brandon was born on May 13, 1989 in South Bend, Indiana to Guy Jackson Fansler and Judith (Kytta) Fansler, and has been a lifelong resident of this area, graduating from Mishawaka High School.
Brandon worked for several years at Delivery Concepts, Inc., Elkhart, Indiana.
He had an enduring love for his family and his soulmate and his fiancée Alyona McConkey. Brandon was a huge fan of ND Football, The Bulls and Bears, a love that he shared with his father. Brandon also had a great interest in politics, religion, and engineering. He had a love of chess.
Brandon was always the light and the life of a gathering, a very charismatic young man with many friends of all race, creed, or color. He was extremely entertaining, a great dancer, and not shy about busting out a freestyle rap with family and friends. Although struggling with his own battles, Brandon shared a loving compassion and empathy to those in need of comfort.
He is survived by his mother, Judith (Kytta) Fansler; sister, Jessica Rene (Jason Horvath) Fansler; fiancé, Alyona McConkey; his future mother-in-law, Yelena Kononchuk; paternal grandparents, Jack and Therse Fansler; uncles, Doug, Kevin (Julie) Whitehead, Shawn (Amy) Fansler, Jeff (Cheryl Steel) Kytta, James (Rin) Kytta and Jim Leda; and many beloved cousins and friends. Brandon was preceded in death by his father, Guy Jackson Fansler; aunt, Sandra Kay Kytta, and maternal grandparents, Oswald and Josephine Kytta.
Funeral services for Brandon will be 4:00 PM Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Palmer Funeral Home River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN 46615, with two hours of visitation prior.
