Caleb Gene Pletcher, 25 years old, went into the arms of Jesus at 10:53 a.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at his home. Caleb was born on February 24, 1994 in Elkhart, IN and has been a lifelong resident of Walkerton. He was a 2012 graduate of John Glenn High School. Caleb was employed at Hoosier Racing Tire.
Caleb had a sweet and gentle spirit. Caleb loved his family as much as we loved him. He loved his two sisters and their families so much. The four brothers bond was tight, protective, and they had each other's backs when trying to get the truth out of them in their younger years! He loved music and playing his guitars, which Caleb had an amazing collection. He asked a couple months ago, "mom you think one day I can play on the praise and worship team at church?" I said "I'm sure, you can try out one day." Now he is shredding strings in Heaven. One day we will get to join Caleb again and get to hear him play.
Caleb is survived by his parents, Rodney Gene and Melisand Dee(Melody) Pletcher; five siblings, Rachele (Chip) Chaffin of Kansas City, MO, Raquel (Josh) Snyder of Walkerton, Ethan Pletcher of South Bend, Thane Pletcher of Walkerton and Daniel Pletcher of Walkerton; grandparents, Leona Pletcher of Mishawaka and Nelda Wright of Plymouth; niece, Kayla Snyder; and five nephews, Andrew, Dustin, and Joshua Snyder, and Matthew and Luke Chaffin. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and extended family.
Caleb had laid back and easy going personality and he dressed accordingly. Guests are welcome to come as they are.
