Chris A. Jones, Sr., 59, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, June 6, 2019 at his residence in Edwardsburg, MI. He was born on December 28, 1959 in South Bend, IN, to Cletis Jones and Frances (Miller) Nettrouer, both of whom preceded him in death.

On May 27, 2000 in Ligonier, IN, Chris married the former Gloria J. Hatten, who survives. In addition to his loving wife of nineteen years, Chris is survived by two sons, Chris A. Jones, Jr., of South Bend, and Billy J. Jones of Scott City, MO; two grandchildren, Alexander E. Jones and Cheyenne R. Jones; sister, April Rose of Plymouth, IN; three brothers, Gary Jones of South Bend; Mark Jones of Nacogdoches, TX; and Rick Jones of Middlebury, IN; and his second mother, Jackie Jones of Cabot, AR.

Chris was an independent truck driver—a job which he thoroughly enjoyed. He was a resident of Edwardsburg for the past 27 years. He enjoyed traveling to different parts of the United States.

In accordance with Chris’ wishes, no services will be held at this time. Palmer Funeral Home—Hickey Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family.
