Constance "Connie" E. (Simmons) Barnard

Constance E. “Connie” Barnard, 61, of South Bend, IN passed away Friday, February 3, 2017 in her home.  Connie was born April 3, 1955 in Spencer, TN to the late Ernest Simmons and Nancy (Fuller) Barnett. 

Connie is survived by her daughter, Jessica T. Barnard of South Bend; her son, Shawn Simmons of Mishawaka; sister, Selina Adamo; and her brothers, Doug Simmons and Jessie Simmons.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Latricia.

Connie loved animals, particularly cats and dogs. 

A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Palmer Funeral Home – Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend, IN.  Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
