Curtis Owens Obituary

Curtis Ray Owens, age 71, residing in Mishawaka, Indiana passed away at 11:24 pm at Sprenger Health Care of Mishawaka. Curtis owned and operated a saw mill. He was born on November 14, 1946 in Bailey Switch, Kentucky to the late John Owens and Mahalie Murdy Owens. On February 24, 1968 in Tennessee, Curtis was united in marriage to Linda Johnson Owens.

Along with his loving wife, Linda Owens; he is survived by his daughter, Lindy (Terry Jr.) Belcher of Goshen; his son, Terry Owens of Mishawaka; three grandchildren, Moriha Owens, Tony (Keisha) Belcher and Trever Belcher; two great grandchildren, Kaden and Adilyn; three sisters, Bernice (Willard) Smith, Sherry Mapes, and Dianne Gray all of Kentucky; and three brothers, David (Jeannie) Owens, Troy Owens, and Dale (Judy) Owens all of Kentucky. Along with his parents, Curtis was also preceded in death by his sister, Bobbie Horsley and two brothers, Drew Owens and Johnny Owens, Jr.

No services will be held. Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, South Bend is assisting the family with arrangements.
