Debora Denise Harris,52, passed away during the very early hours of Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN. She was born on January 3, 1967 to Herbert L. Sr. and Annie (Houston) Harris.

Debora was a life-long resident of South Bend and was a teacher at Edison Middle School at her time of passing. She was a beloved daughter, sister, cousin and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Debora is survived by her father, Herbert L. Harris, Sr. of South Bend; stepmother Pearlie Mae Harris of South Bend; sister Valarie Lynn Harris of Bloomington, IN; brothers Herbert L. (Julie) Harris, Jr. of South Bend, Carlis (Nikki) Harris of Indianapolis, IN and Anthony F. Houston of the UK; as well as a host of extended family members and friends.

Per the family’s wishes, no public services will be held. The family may gather privately at a later date to celebrate Debora’s life. Palmer Funeral Homes – West Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Online expressions of sympathy may be left at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com.
