Dennis Allen Smith, Sr., 55, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at his residence in South Bend, IN. He was born on September 21, 1962 in South Bend, to Elmer and Sandra (Newcomer) Smith.

In addition to his father, Dennis is survived by his daughter, Christina Smith of California; son, Dennis A. Smith, Jr., of California; and sisters, Cheryl (Kevin) Minder of South Bend, and Cathy Nordfors of Moores Hill, IN. Dennis was preceded in death by his mother; his son, Allen Smith; and his brothers, Billy Smith and Ricky Smith.

Dennis was employed as a contractor in the roofing business.

No services will be held at this time. Palmer Funeral Home—Hickey Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family.
