Donald "Donnie" Overholser

Donald "Donnie" Overholser, 57, of South Bend, IN passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at his home.  He was born on July 13, 1959 in South Bend, IN to the late Lora "Obie" E. Overholser and Mary Ann (Mudrovich) Overholser-Thompson.

Donnie is survived by two sons, Justin (Ashly) Overholser and Andrew (Michele) Moreno; three grandchildren; three sisters, Laura (Dennis) Iorio of Granger, IN, Rebecca Bowyer of South Bend, IN and Dawn;  brother, Dean Overholser of South Bend, IN and stepmother, Lois J. Overholser of South Bend, IN.  He was also survived by a nephew, Kyle (Ashly) Dentino, niece, Dawn Splawski and six nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Sonny Splawski.

Donnie was a lifelong resident.  He loved music, animals, barbequing and going to the beach.  He was an avid Notre Dame and Chicago Cubs fan making it to see the World Series Win.

The family will have a private service at a later date.  Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family.
