Duane D Fuchs

Duane D. Fuchs, 75 years old, passed away at 9:45 a.m. on Monday, February 18, 2019 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Plymouth. Duane was born on September 19, 1943 in South Bend to the late Donald C. and Thelma A. (Thornton) Fuchs. He has resided in Richmond, IN for the past thirty years, and was formerly from Lakeville. He was a former staff member for Kelly’s Kawasaki in Richmond. 

Duane is survived by his two brothers, Jerry (Diana) Fox of Greenfield, IN and Bruce (Cheryl) Fuchs of Bremen; sister-in-law, Lorraine Fuchs of Lakeville; nieces and nephews, Ellen Roever, Paula Fuchs, Ann Flory, Kelli Mann, and Brian Fuchs; aunts, Polly Fuchs, Phyllis Fuchs, and Betty Thornton; and uncles Bob Fuchs and Otis (Ledra) Thornton. Duane is also survived by his friend and caregiver for the past 15 years, Debbie Ray and her family. Duane was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Fuchs. 

The funeral service for Duane will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Palmer Funeral Home, within the Palmer Community Complex, 601 N. Michigan Street, Lakeville, IN.  Pastor David Wetterlund will officiate.  Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.  Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Palmer Funeral Home in Lakeville on Saturday.
