Jerolyn R. “Jere” Dolph-Turner, 67 years old, passed away at 10:17 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. Jere was born on August 8, 1951 in South Bend to the late Edward and Joyce (Summers) Dolph. She has remained a lifelong resident of Plymouth. On December 21, 1996 in North Liberty at the Pine Creek Church of the Brethren, Jere and Charles A. Turner were united in marriage.
Along with her husband, Charles, survivors include her two step-sons, Charles A-S (Audra) Turner, Jr. and Sean D-S (Lisa) Turner, both of California; five step grandchildren; sister, Janet (Jerry) Wright of Lafayette, IN; two brothers, Joe (Linda VanDamme) Dolph of Plymouth and Jim (Candy) Dolph of Plymouth; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Jere was a chef at the Marriott in South Bend for over ten years. She was also the primary chef at the Catholic Rectory in Plymouth.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at the Pine Creek Church of the Brethren, 25075 Stanton Road, North Liberty, IN 46554. Pastor Steve VanHouten will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow at Fair Cemetery, North Liberty. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 21st, at the Palmer Funeral Home, within the Palmer Community Complex, 601 N. Michigan Street, Lakeville, IN. Friends may also visit with the family one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.
