Joan I. Eaton

Joan I. Eaton, 86, of Bristol, IN passed away at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at her home.  She was born on February 1, 1929 in South Bend, IN to Turk and Edna (Williams) Watts. She was a graduate of Jame Whitcomb Riley High School.  On August 20, 1947 in South Bend, IN she was united in marriage to Delford A. Eaton who survives.

Mrs. Eaton is also survived by three brothers, Darrell (Joyce) Watts, John (Carol) Watts and Mike Watts all of South Bend, IN.

Mrs. Eaton lived in Bristol for the last forty-nine years and wintered in Sebring, FL for over thirty years.  She and Del learned clogging dance in Florida and she later became a clogging instructor. 

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 7, 2015 at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN.   Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.   Friends may visit with the family from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
