John Raymond Bullard

John Raymond Bullard, 80, of Mishawaka, IN passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.   He was born on September 26, 1937 in Mishawaka, IN to the late Ray and Mabel (Buckland) Bullard.  He was united in marriage to the former Jackie Tischer in 1958.

John is survived by his wife, Jackie  Bullard; children, Stephen (Sophia) Bullard of Las Vegas, NV, John Raymond (Tami) Bullard Jr. of Frisco, TX, Cynthia (Edgar) Cabello of South Bend, IN, Michael (Denise) Bullard of New Palestine, IN and Joanne Schrock of Wakarusa, IN; fifteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sister, Dianna (Larry) Hillebrand of Columbia, SC and brother, Lyle (Lana) Bullard of Lakeville, IN.  He was preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law, Delton Schrock and grandson, Ryne Bullard.

John graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1956 and served his country honorably in the United States Army.  He worked as a postal worker for the United States Post Office in Mishawaka, IN.  He also worked part time for Kroger, retiring in 2002.  John was a member of Southgate Church where he served as an usher and worked at the food pantry.  He loved to watch Mishawaka High School football and share God's goodness with people.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 13, 2017 at Southgate Church, 3717 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN.  Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services at the church.  Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
