Dear Barbara,
I was hoping to see your mother to wish her a happy birthday this month, but I think she is happier now. She probably was not very happy just being in bed. I really enjoyed getting to know her. She is a great lady.

Hello Barbara and Family,
We were saddened to learn of Katy's passing today, but we also rejoice with you in celebrating a life lived well and to its fullest. She was a remarkable woman who lived to serve others. We are all richer for having known her. You will be in our thoughts these next days and weeks. I'm sure you will have many wonderful stories to share with others, too.
