Kevin Wayne Bruntz

Kevin Wayne Bruntz, 56 years old, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017.  Kevin was born on September 18, 1960 in South Bend and has remained a lifelong resident.  He has worked at Jamil Packaging for over 35 years and was a graduate of Riley High School, Class of 1978.  Kevin enjoyed fishing, camping and paintballing.  His parents liked to call him “little heaven” since his birth.  Kevin loved his family and will be missed.

Kevin is survived by his two children, Angela (Brandon) Phillips of Las Vegas, NV and Brandon (fiancé, Yesenia Avila) Bruntz of Lakeville; two grandchildren, Colton and Malia; parents, Robert L. and Betty J. Bruntz, Sr. of South Bend; sister, Lori Jozwiak of South Bend; and two brothers, Robert L. (Cynthia) Bruntz, Jr. and Keith (Jennifer) Bruntz, both of South Bend.  Kevin is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 21, 2017 at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend.  Friends may visit with the family two hours prior to services, 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.  on Friday.
