Kirk E. Golden

Kirk E Golden, 64, residing in South Bend, Indiana passed Wednesday evening, February 7, 2018 at his daughter’s home. 

Kirk was born on May 23, 1953 in Mishawaka to the late Paul Golden  and Irene (Eversole) DeBaets.  He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Cyriel DeBaets.

Kirk was an avid carpenter and worked for many years in construction, electrical work, and plumbing.

He is survived by his daughter, Lois Kassem of South Bend; son, Kirk E (Jennifer) Golden, II of Grand Blanc, MI; six grandchildren, Kaylee, Kyler, Elliana, Makenna, Airabella, and Maksim; sisters, Cynthia Kedick Batson of South Bend and Paulette Butler of Bremen; brother, Chris (Michelle) DeBaets of Bremen; and step-brother, Larry (Karen) DeBaets of South Bend.

Memorial services for Kirk E Golden will be at 6:00 PM Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Palmer Funeral Home River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN 46615.  Friends may gather with the family three hours prior to services at the funeral home (3:00 PM till 6:00 PM).  Palmer Funeral Home River Park is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com.
