Larry K. Myers

Larry K. Myers, 79 years old, passed away at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.  Larry was born on May 20, 1937 in Logansport, IN to the late Glenn T. and Rosalin A. (Taylor) Myers.  He has lived in our local area most of his life.  On March 3, 1957 in Lakeville, Larry and Loa G. Ritter were united in marriage and recently celebrated sixty years of marriage. 

Along with his loving wife, Loa, Larry is survived by their three children, Lori J. Osborne of LaPaz, IN, Linda J. Boocher of Melbourne, FL and Lee Myers of LaPaz, IN; six grandchildren, Joshua (Lisa) Warner, Hilary Osborne, Adam Boocher, Amanda Boocher, Kassie Myers and Ashlie Myers; seven great grandchildren, Chris, Dan, Jake, Reid, Quinn, Sophie, and Addison; sister, Pamela Koker of Logansport; and brother, Wayne Myers of Plymouth.  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.  Larry was preceded in death by his sister, Dixie Hannah, and brother, T.J. Myers.

Larry retired in 2002 after 38 years of employment as an electrician and superintendent with Koontz-Wagner.  He proudly served his country with the United State Marine Corp from 1956-1959.  Larry was a graduate of Lakeville High School, Class of 1955.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Palmer Funeral Home within the Palmer Community Complex, 601 N. Michigan Street, Lakeville.  Pastor Steve Cox will officiate.  Graveside services and burial will follow at Fair Cemetery, North Liberty.  Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18th, at the Palmer Funeral Home, Lakeville.
