MISHAWAKA – Larry D. Whitten, 38, residing in Mishawaka, Indiana passed away this past Sunday, September 9, 2018 in Mishawaka.

Larry was born on September 11, 1979 in Hermann, Missouri to Timothy (Pamela) Whitten and Gwendolyn (Dennis) Edwards, both currently residing in Elkhart, Indiana. Larry has been a lifelong resident of the Elkhart area, graduating from JimtownHigh School, and attending college at Indiana University, South Bend. Larry worked as a Facility Assistant at Lippert Industries, Elkhart. He also enjoyed playing video games and board games.

In addition to his parents, Larry is survived by his step-sister, Marlo Walls of Bloomington, IN; four step-brothers, Bryon Edwards, Aaron Edwards, Ronald Weiss, and Jeffery Weiss all of Elkhart, IN; maternal grandmother, Carolyn (John) Spradlineof Republic, MO; along with 6 nieces and 3 nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Helen Whitten, and his maternal grandfather, Don Bruning.
