Linda Blankenship-Williams

Linda Blankenship-Williams, 72, of South Bend, IN passed away at 10;16 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at her home.  She was born on November 22, 1946 in Chicago, IL to the late Calvin and Dora (Griffen) Blankenship.  On November 5, 2008, she was united in marriage to Ben Williams, who survives.

Linda is also survived by her children, Michelle (Alfred) Smith, Michael Gould and Calvin Gould, all of South Bend, IN; grandchildren, Angeline Smith, Alyssa Smith, Michael Burgel and Ashley Burgel and great grandchildren, Montique Jenkins, Dominck Bocado, Leah Martinez and Lorenzo Martinez.   She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Harry McBride.

Linda lived most of her life in South Bend, coming from Chicago in 1978.  She worked in shipping and receiving for Thermal Plastics.  Linda loved to garden and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
