Linda J. VonSzalay

Linda J. VonSzalay. 71, residing in South Bend, Indiana passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend.

Linda was born on May 31, 1947 in Queens, New York to the late Robert Haas and Helaine (Cukierski) Haas.  In 1972 she moved to Knox, Indiana and later to South Bend, where she lived at the Cardinal Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, South Bend.  Linda is survived by her half-brother, Julius VonSzalay of Sun City, Florida, who took care of her for many years.  She is also survived by her wonderful friend, Kay Garbaciak of Elkhart, Indiana.  Linda worked as an Executive Secretary for many years, and also as a Respiratory Technician.

She lived at Cardinal Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, South Bend where she had many friends.

A Memorial Service for Linda will be held at 2:30 pm on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Cardinal Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 1121 E. LaSalle Ave., South Bend, IN 46617.
