Lucinda I. Jaronik

Lucinda Isabelle Jaronik, 87 years old, passed away at 2:02 a.m. on Friday, November 3, 2017 at the Southfield Village, South Bend, with her children by her side.  Lucinda was born on October 8, 1930 in Mishawaka to the late Elmer and Vadna Pearl (Taylor) Sandefur.  Along with her parents, Lucinda was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Jaronik; and her siblings, Josephine Sandefur, Billy Sandefur, Bonita Fleming, Morris Sandefur, Harold Sandefur, Chucky Sandefur, Thelma Cross, Cecil Sandefur, Glenn Sandefur, and Gilford Sandefur.  Lucinda enjoyed crocheting, sewing, traveling and giving to others.  As a resident she sewed neck pillows for her friends, nurses and CNAs at Southfield Village.

Lucinda is survived by her daughter, Tammie (George) Jacobs of Grove City, OH; two sons, Bryan (Cathy) Priebe and Dale Priebe of Mishawaka;  nine grandchildren and their families, Levon (Stephanie) Putz and children, Raven and Max; Clinton (Melissa) Putz and children, Skylar, Landon, Rylee and Lucas; Jami (Josh) Putz, Mariah (Tim) Skibbe and children, Amelia and Alex; Robert Priebe and children, Alexander and Hunter; Adam Priebe, Shannen (Ryan) Priebe and children, Chloe and Cameron; Dustin Priebe, and Candace (Kieran) Gibson and children, Payslee and Payton.  She is also survived by her brother, Chet (Ruby) Sandefur of Elkhart, IN. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend.  Dr. Michael Cramer will officiate.  Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.  Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, November 10th, and from 12:00 noon-2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
