Mary L. Moon, 88, of Lakeville, IN passed away at 5:20 a.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2011 in Miller's Merry Manor, Walkerton, IN. She was born on October 11, 1923 in Lakeville, IN to Harold and Emma (Eiswald) Fox. On November 30, 1945 in Lakeville, IN, she married Maynard F. Moon, who survives.

Mrs. Moon is also survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Rev. Roy) Herbster of Lakeville, IN; two grandchildren, Rev. David (Shawn) Herbster of Lakeville, IN and Timothy (Christy) Herbster of Niles, MI; eight great grandchildren, Quentin, Hannah, Isaiah, Chloe, Naomi, Ashley, Samuel and Kaylynn; sister, Patricia (Donald) Shirley of Lakeville, IN and sister-in-law, Ruth Fox of Wakarusa, IN. Her brother, Robert Fox preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2011 in Faith Christian Chapel, 20876 Pierce Road, Lakeville, IN 46536. Rev. David Herbster and Rev. Roy Herbster will officiate. Burial will follow in Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services. Palmer Funeral Home-Lakeville is handling the arrangements.
