Maureen Eileen Whelan

Maureen E. (McGreevy) Whelan, age 87, of Westerville, OH, formerly of New York City and Longwood, Florida, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Raymond P. Whelan.  Maureen is survived by her children, Tom (Marina) Whelan, Peg Donovan, John (Lina) Whelan, and Bob (Lisa) Whelan; sister, Abigail McGreevy; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated  at 11:00am on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 52473 State Route 933, South Bend, IN.  Rev. Michael Belinsky, C.S.C., will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00-11:00am on Friday at the church prior to services. Palmer Funeral Home—Hickey Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
