Megan L. Martin

Megan Martin, 31, of Granger died Saturday, July 8, 2017 in an auto accident. Megan was born on June 4, 1986, in Niles, MI, to Lester Kurtz and Dori Royer.

On September 4, 2015 in Mishawaka, Megan married Micaiah “Mike” Martin, who survives. In addition to her husband, Megan is survived by their son, Gavin L. Martin of Granger; mother, Dori (Gary) Royer of Elkhart; father, Lester Kurtz of Elkhart; grandma, Elva Alley of Hillsboro, TN; sister, Donna (Tony) Bowling of Springfield, OH; several step-siblings, Gary (Nancy) Royer, Kary (Shanda) Royer, Angie Bailey, and Sean Royer. Megan loved all of her nieces and nephews, as well as her extended family. The most important thing to Megan was Mike and Gavin. She also enjoyed writing and crafting. Megan was a loving wife, daughter, sister, niece, and friend to many. She enjoyed the time with her cousins, aunts, and uncles especially.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Palmer Funeral Home—Hickey Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
