SOUTH BEND – Nancy E. Freshour, 76, residing in South Bend, IN passed away at 1:25 AM on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at her home.
Nancy was born on January 2, 1939 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Paul W. Sr., and Marjorie (Fisher) Freshour, and was a lifelong resident of the South Bend.
Nancy always enjoyed working wherever she was. She was employed with Ball-Band for nearly thirty five years, then worked at Nyloncraft, and retired from Uniroyal Corp. She was active at the Osceola Race Track where she worked every Sunday. She also enjoyed going to the casino.
Nancy is survived by her sister, Betty Perkey of South Bend, IN, sister-in-law, Barbara Freshour of South Bend, brother-in-law, Logan Bentzler of Kokomo, IN; and several nieces, nephews and cousins, and a very close longtime friend Jean Eufemi of South Bend. She was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Bentzler and her brother, Paul W. Freshour, Jr.
Services for Nancy Freshour will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, at Palmer Funeral Home – Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend, IN where visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until time of the service. Rev. James B. Miller of Sunnyside Presbyterian Church will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to The Center for Hospice Care, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
