Nancy Jo Knowlton, 77, of North Liberty, IN passed away at 6:37 a.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at her home. She was born on June 4, 1939 in LaPorte, IN to the late Earl and Edna (Nelson) Bulla. On June 12, 1960, Nancy and Jerry were united in marriage at the North Liberty United Methodist Church. They were married for fifty-six years until Jerry's passing on March 19, 2017.
Nancy is survived by four daughters, Janet (Stephen) Maxwell of New Palestine, Jill (Gene) Davis of North Liberty, Joni (Ron) Baker of New Castle and Julie (Keith) Dinn of Bunker Hill; eleven grandchildren, Spenser and Adrienne Maxwell, Alyssa (Ricky) Curtis, Austin (Brittany) Davis, Addison Davis, Marie (Mitch) Gilb, Courtney, Emily and Stephanie Baker, Kyle and Kirsten Dinn; four great grandchildren, Abrie, Jaxson, Lincoln and Paul. She was preceded in death by five sisters, Iva Ferrell, Dorothy Zombik, Neva "Spin" Hevel, Ruth Martin and Norma Hill and two brothers, Russell "Abe" Bulla and Lawrence "Frisk" Bulla.
Nancy worked for CVS (formerly Hooks Drugs) retiring in 2001 after twenty-five years of service. She was a member of North Liberty United Methodist Church. Nancy loved talking on the phone, word search puzzles and working at the Treasure Chest. She enjoyed baking and making popcorn balls and sharing popcorn with the neighbors while swinging on the porch swing.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2017 at the North Liberty United Methodist Church, 103. S. Main Street, North Liberty, IN. Rev Trenton Prieshoff and Rev. Tim Davis will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow at Eastlawn Cemetery, North Liberty. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Palmer Funeral Home, 202 N. Main Street, North Liberty, IN and one hour prior to the services at church on Friday.
