Noel Heim

Noel Heim, 64, passed away on the evening of Friday, September 13, 2019 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. Noel was born on January 15, 1955 in South Bend to William "Bill" and Anna Rose (Clark) Heim. 

Noel grew up in Walkerton, In and graduated from John Glenn High School with the Class of 1973. Noel was a long-time employee of American Door in Walkerton, IN, where he worked on the assembly line. He developed many friendships throughout those years. Noel spent the last 25 years of his life in the Michiana area where he also gained many meaningful friendships. 
Noel was a kind soul and enjoyed spending time with his extended family and friends. He was a life long Notre Dame and Chicago Cubs fan, he never missed an opportunity to say "Go Cubs!"

Noel was preceded in death by his loving parents Bill and Anna Rose Heim and his special friend, Tina Hendricks. 

Noel is survived by his brother, Barry (Joann) L. Heim of The Villages, FL, two nephews, Jordan Heim of Chicago, IL and Carsen Heim of Port Orange, FL. and a loving niece, Emily Lynn, who took special care of him. He is also survived by a host of extended family members and many friends. 

A celebration of life gathering will be held Friday, September 20, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Palmer Funeral Homes - Guisinger Chapel, 3718 South Michigan Street, South Bend, IN 46614. To honor Noel, family is asking those who are attending the visitation to wear (if able) Notre Dame or Cubs attire.
